Permanent Ngoma
Permanent Ngoma is the Executive Director of Bulawayo Progressive Residents Association. She is a strategist, who has made significant contributions to civic organizations through her expertise in project planning, social advocacy and grant management. She has trained and empowered women in leadership, particularly in politics, to address the underrepresentation of women in politics and decision-making positions. Additionally, she has fought for essentials like access to clean water, service delivery, and housing, implementing projects that positively impact community at large. Her inclusive leadership style has fostered collaboration and cooperation, driving initiatives focused on economic growth, gender equality, and poverty reduction. Permanent Ngoma holds a master’s degree in Business Administration, Post graduate diploma in Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership as well as Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Entreprenuership.
Claude Phuthi
Claude Phuti is a project management specialist currently working for Bulawayo Progressive Residents Association as the programs Manager and has over 8 years’ experience in human rights, governance and humanitarian work. He is also motivated to empower youths and fight drugs and substance abuse. He is a holder of a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Development Management and also a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and Public Management and various professional training certificates in Humanitarian work and Governance.
Portia R. Ncube
Portia R Ncube is a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the BPRA. With a strong academic foundation, Portia holds an honours degree in Politics and Public Management, and has further enhanced her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in International Affairs. Her extensive experience in the civil society sector has equipped her with a deep understanding of research-based advocacy, monitoring and evaluation, and data collection and capturing.
Luckson Mafu
Luckson Mafu is a motivated communications and media practitioner.Goal oriented and believes in team work makes dream work.Posseses excellent communications skills.
Abigail Siziva
Abigail Siziba is an accomplished professional with a strong commitment to gender equality and local governance. Her experience as a Programs Officer at Bulawayo Progressive Residents Association combined with her focus on empowering women in the community, highlights her dedication to fostering inclusive participation in governance and development. Abigail has led various initiatives aimed at increasing women’s participation in local governance, such as workshops, advocacy campaigns, and mentorship programs. These efforts have empowered women to take on leadership roles within their communities. She is a published author of E-government implications on service provision : The Case of Bulawayo City Council. Abigail Siziba holds a Honours Degree in Local Governance Studies among other professional certificates on governance. She has aspirations to advance gender equality.

Malvern N Phiri, Finance Manager at BPRA, has over a decade of experience in the civil sector. He holds a degree in Business Management in Accounting and brings financial expertise to his role.

Ngqabutho Moyo is a finance enthusiast with a keen eye for detail, currently serving as a finance associate at BPRA. With a solid educational foundation in accounting and finance from Lupane State University, he has enhanced his skills and demonstrated proficiency in the finance and accounting field.
